One beautiful fall day in September of 2015, Nik got a knock on the door that her husband had killed himself on some family land. They had been married for 9 years and in the next room napping were their children, ages 4 and 1 1/2. This is the day that her entire world shattered and her heart lit on fire. Nik was 35 years old the day she was widowed.  She has had to rise out of those shattered pieces and begin to put her and her children's lives back together. She is now a Spiritual Life Coach and Writer. Nik remarried in 2019 and moved to Rosemount, Minnesota. 

 

 

 

Nik will walk the audience through her very personal and heart-wrenching story of losing her first husband to suicide. She will shed light on how she got through and beyond the darkest days of grief, and where she found hope and joy within the storm.

 

She will share how you can become resilient after any struggle you face, find meaning inside of your suffering, and inspire you to re-enter life with courage, hope, and gratitude.
